Article: Fly me to the moon
Fly me to the moon
Do you still look up at the sky at the end of a day's work?
You might see drifting clouds, sunset, sometimes a thunderstorm that washes the entire city, or a rising moon.
Our Daily lives are inseparable from the hustle and bustle of making a living—researching, manufacturing, producing, buying, and selling. After leaving the office, you might take a moment to scroll through the latest news on your phone, pondering where the world is heading.
Who am I? Where do I come from? Where am I going?
These are eternal questions for humanity. After a long day, take a CityWalk while the sun sets and the moon rises; today's moon seems no different from the one 55 years ago.
July 20 marks the 55th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon. President Nixon said in the telephone radio transmission: "...the heavens have become a part of man's world. And as you talk to us from the Sea of Tranquility, it inspires us to redouble our efforts to bring peace and tranquility to Earth...."
Armstrong responded: "...with interest and curiosity, and men with a vision for the future. It's an honor for us to be able to participate here today."
Yet, the Earth has not become peaceful and tranquil since then. But we can still remind ourselves that with interest, curiosity, and a vision for the future, the same qualities that took a team of astronauts to the moon, we might find answers to the profound questions in life.
Laban developed pens with diverse materials
The Abalone fountain pen is a proud creation in Laban's jewelry fountain pen series.
They are crafted from natural abalone shells from New Zealand, finely polished to create a pen with a heavier and steadier feel. They are perfect for writers who have experienced so much proudly. —the young boys and girls who once marveled at Armstrong's moonwalk on TV, who looked up at the sky with shining eyes, have never left.
