Summertime in the Sun

It is summertime!

Dragon boat festival day is the symbol of summer starting. In Taiwan, we will make bouquets with three aromatic herbs: sweet flag, silvery wormwood, and banyan leaf. Then we hang it on the door. It helps to block mosquitoes, but it also means wiping misfortune away and welcoming new fortunate.

People Fold a bamboo leaf into a pyramid shape and put rice in it. Isn't the Asian "Rice Dumpling" remind us of the "Tamales" in the Central and South America?

Our earth is a world of surprises that we can discover with curiosity!
